Lyon was the Commander of the Hecla as part of Parry’s second attempt to locate a North-West Passage. His journal is replete with descriptions of the Inuit, the natural history of the region, and the day-to-day hardship of the expedition. [The original printing of 1824 is referenced in AB 10531.]
